Day 1 & 2.

We are here now. The weather has been great and not terribly Seattle-like (which we feared). We pretty much headed straight to the pub from our flight yesterday to watch the England-Israel game. They won 3-0, we each had 3 pints, so that might have had something to do with it. ;) It was awesome.

We're staying with our friends Neil, Clem, and their son Ralph. He's adorable! He runs around jabbering, loves cars, and dresses very stylishly for an almost 2-year old. This morning, we took him to the park to watch him run around while we fed squirrels. These sweet little squirrels would come right up and take "monkey nuts" (actually peanuts) directly from our hands. It was so cute and, considering our love of Nutsies, a perfect thing for us to do. They're treating us well. We were fed a full English breakfast and a Sunday roast today alone. Yum-o!

So, are we actually doing anything in London? Well, we did go to the Tate Modern this afternoon. The place was packed, but there was some pretty impressive art. The building itself is definitely a masterpiece since it's a rehabbed power station.

Next on our agenda: 4 nights in the countryside. I'm not so sure this blogging thing is going to work out from here on out. We're feeling a bit short on time, and still a bit jet lagged. We'll certainly update after we get back to recap our trip if we don't get a chance to pop back on here again. We shall see.... until then, cheers!
